(There were Fireside Chats, festive gatherings at members’ homes, a ‘Falling’ workshop at a local gym, and Zoom sessions.) We have 31 new members since July 1/2024! Thank you, Cynthia & Emily Alexis, and Conne Sutherland for hosting us in your homes and Melissa Sterling for hosting our Zooms. And, of course, Helayne, Conne and Judy, in their official roles!
We have established a Marketing Committee headed by Linda Smutz, with input from Melissa, Deb Langley, and Desiree. We will have new brochures, logo’d pens and business cards to give out at The Fiesta.
Did you notice the member profiles Desiree is writing for the newsletter? She’s brilliant at collecting info and making us look fascinating! We can learn or be reminded of our friends’ backgrounds, discover clues to common connections and certainly have a chuckle over surprise revelations. Your new Club Board will be profiled in the September Newsletter. (Allow her to take your picture and you’ll move up in the queue!)
